Admission Overview

London Enterprise Academy is an academy, which means we are our own admission authority. However, we adopt the London Borough of Tower Hamlet’s Admission Arrangements to ensure continuity across the borough.

The staff, governing body and students of London Enterprise Academy would welcome you applying for a place at our school. To do this you must follow the correct process for your child’s age as detailed below.

All applications for this school must be made through London Borough of Tower Hamlet’s Pupil Services, not this school.

Moving from Primary to Secondary School in September 2025

If your child was born between 1 September 2013 and 31 August 2014, you will need to apply for a secondary school place for September 2025.

If your child lives in Tower Hamlet, you will need to apply via London Borough of Tower Hamlet’s Pupil Services. But if your child lives outside Tower Hamlet, but you want him or her to go to school in Tower Hamlet, you will need to apply through the local authority in the borough you live in.

We recommend that the families of all of our year 6 pupils attend the Open Days or Open Evenings at the schools before making a decision on what schools to name as a preference.

To maximise your opportunities of getting a place at London Enterprise Academy, ensure it is one of the schools named in your list of six preferred schools.

Remember, you must apply for a place, even if your child has a brother or sister attending the school.
