Why do I have to study Triple Science?
Studying science is vital to understanding the world we live in. The Triple Science course gives students in-depth knowledge in each of the three sciences; Biology, Chemistry and Physics. This means students will have the opportunity to explore careers such as medicine and dentistry.
There are a number of compulsory core practicals across the three sciences that will be delivered through the two-year course.
Triple science has 50% more content than combined science and is extremely challenging. Although it may appear to be similar in terms of chapters as combined science, the content goes into greater depth.
How will I be examined?
Triple Science is a linear course and you will be assessed at the end of the two-year course by sitting a series of six exam papers each lasting 1hr 45mins which will lead to separate qualifications in Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
